There are two main modes of transportation from Paro airport to Thimphu city:

Cab: It takes about 1.5 hours to get from Paro Airport to Thimphu, and a cab will cost around 1000-1500 Bhutanese Nuer (BTN) depending on the type of car and traffic conditions.
Private chartered buses/coaches: Private chartered buses can be booked through a travel agency, which costs a little more but is more comfortable and convenient.

2. From Thimphu city center to King's Memorial Tower
Cab: It takes about 10-15 minutes by cab from Thimphu city center to the King's Memorial Pagoda, and the drive is about 1-2 kilometers.
Walking: If you prefer to walk, you can choose to walk from the city center to the King's Memorial Pagoda, along the way you can enjoy the beautiful view of Thimphu city center. The walk will take about 30 minutes.

3. Directions
