Colorful Danxia Scenic Spot is located in Zhangye, Gansu Province, China. Covering an area of about 50 square kilometers, it is of high visiting and research value. Colorful Danxia Scenic Spot is the most typical Danxia landform in northern China, and it is also the only region that the Danxia landform overlaps with the colorful hills in China.

The Colorful Danxia Scenic Spot can be traced to 2,000,000 years ago. And the altitude of it is between 2,000 meters to 3,800 meters above the sea level. It is about 40 kilometers long from east to west and 5-10 kilometers wide from north to south, with a distribution area of more than 300 square kilometers. Thousands of cliffs and mountains are all bright red and reddish brown, which are magnificent and marvellous.

Chongqing: A City with Three-Dimensional Transport

Mogao Caves

Dali: Pagodas of a Thousand Years

The Three Pagodas in Chongsheng Temple are the landmark of Dali. The main tower is named Qianxun Tower, with the height of 69 meters. And the two pagodas are the same height of 42 meters. The Qianxun Tower is the construction style of Tang Dynasty, and the two small towers are the construction style of Song Dynasty. Qianxun Tower has a history of more than 1,000 years.

The Three Pagodas are of high historical, cultural and architectural value. The Three Pagodas are good places to feel the history of Dali. There are also many Buddhist Statues and other collections of Buddhism in the Chongsheng Temple.

Lushan Mountain: Unique and Beautiful Mountains and Waterfalls

Lushan Mountain is located in Lushan, Jiujiang, Jiangxi Province, China. It was listed as World Cultural Heritage in 1996. There are mountains, valleys, caves, rocks, rapids and waterfalls in Lushan Mountain. The most famous waterfall is the Sandiequan Waterfall with a drop of 155 meters. Lushan Mountain is spectacular, grotesque, steep and picturesque.

The literary men of past dynasties like Li Bai and Xu Zhimo, traveled to Lushan Mountain and wrote down some masterpiece poems. The amazing scenery gave the literary men inspiration for their painting or writing.
